1. Who we are
Uxbridge Web Design is a web design service operated by Jonathan Koziel, based in Uxbridge, London, UK. If you have any questions about this policy, please contact us at jonathan.koziel@uxbridgewebdesign.com.
2. What personal data we collect and why
Project enquiry form
When you submit a project enquiry through our site, we collect your name, email address, and project details (type, budget, deadline, and description). This information is used solely to respond to your enquiry. It is transmitted via Resend (our email delivery provider) to our inbox. We do not store this data in any database — once delivered, it exists only in our email account.
Legal basis: legitimate interests — you have voluntarily initiated a service enquiry.
Analytics
We use a self-hosted instance of Plausible Analytics. Plausible does not use cookies and collects no personally identifiable information. The data we see is entirely anonymous and limited to aggregate statistics: device type, browser, country of origin, and referring source. You cannot be identified from this data.
Google Fonts
Our site loads the Space Grotesk typeface from Google Fonts (fonts.gstatic.com). When your browser requests these files, your IP address is sent to Google's servers. We have no control over this data. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for further details.
3. Data processors
We use the following third-party services that may process data on our behalf:
- Resend (resend.com) — transactional email delivery for form submissions
- Google — web font delivery via Google Fonts
4. Cookies and local storage
We do not use any cookies on this website. Your browser may store your light/dark theme preference in localStorage — this contains no personal data and is never transmitted to us or any third party.
5. Data retention
We do not store form submission data on our servers. Once your enquiry is delivered to our inbox, it is retained in our email account in line with normal email retention practices. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
6. Your rights under UK GDPR
If you are based in the UK or EEA, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right of access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Right to rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Right to erasure — ask us to delete your personal data
- Right to object — object to our processing of your data
To exercise any of these rights, email us at jonathan.koziel@uxbridgewebdesign.com.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
8. Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
